Just providing an update.
I have migrated to a different ISP in light of the poor communication provided by Cuckoo. In hindsight it seems Cuckoo is reselling other telecom provider packages but the technical support just isn't providing the same support standards as it did when it was a start-up. I found cancelling my package resulted in one member of the team sending me an email IN CAPS which I found slightly unprofessional. The final direct debit came across very confusing but cancelling the package wasn't a big hasstle I guess that's one of the good things about Cuckoo is I didn't need to speak to someone when I was leaving.
