After waiting a long long wait for fibre to come Nexfibre have just gone live. I can get M500 for £31 a month (which is £1 more than our old 30Mb service!) but wondered if anyone had any general advice for a first time VM user?
I currently have m4 deco (gigabit port+AC1200) mesh network - should I carry on using this with the virgin hub in modem mode? Is it worth investing in a better primary model for the initial connection. Its mostly going to be used via wifi for working from home but some game downloads too.
How long should I keep my old FTTC system running before cancelling? I need a reliable connection for work.
Is there any benefit/negatives on nexfibre going to a different speed - i.e. is M350/M1000 any different but download speed.
Any other advice welcome! (I'm very aware I need to cancel in exactly 18 months as price jumps to £72! Crazy!!!)
