Lightspeed data leak?

[link to this post]

Received spam/phishing email, last week, at an email address only used for Lightspeed.
I have contacted them, forwarding the details, but heard nothing back; my email probably blocked by their spam filter wink

Not impossible that someone guessed the email address of course, but then I'd probably expect a few more junk emails to other addresses.

Yep, also had the spam and to an email address that is only used for Lightspeed Broadband.

[email protected]

Definitely had a data breach (made an account just to reply to this!)

Not just me then. Email response from Lightspeed is below:
Good afternoon xxxxxxx,

Thank you for the email.

Please be aware that we have received no notification of a "data breach".

Kind Regards

Haha, you should reply and say, "I am making you aware you have had a data breach (no need for quotation marks around it)."

Brilliant smile. Only starting "I just made you aware ...."

If you're referring to ZenDesk that's not news. 😉

Hehe. Just a smidge.

Blue Yonder had a ransomware exploit last week, but they’re hardly CRM and more like digital logistics management so affected folks like Sainsbury’s and Morrisons with supply chain stuff.

Not at liberty to say, but there is another system I also had in mind closely linked.

Many Thanks,
