Cuckoo move of address

Background: had CityFibre FTTH installed originally via Giganet, who merged / were bought out a while back and are now Cuckoo.

Does anyone have experience with moving address with Cuckoo?

I am supplied CF 900 symmetic + a static v4 IP on a rolling basis with Cuckoo. I am moving to another place so asked what the process is, and from what the CS rep said it's basically the "new user" flow- get provisioned new equipment, new account, minimum term, etc.

I don't / hadn't plan[ned] to change provider immediately but I'm not enamoured with the idea of essentially becoming a 'new customer', the CS rep did offer a month free but that to me doesn't outweigh being locked in for two years.

Has anyone moved while on a rolling term (or partway through a min term) and kept that?

Update: since time ran out I have cancelled my Cuckoo contract and will start from scratch- compare with other providers.
