Just in case anyone in Essex and with Gigaclear is having issues today, a problem has occurred within the main Essex hub, and download speeds are being drastically reduced until further notice (when they can get engineers to their equipment).
According to the customer operations centre that I spoke to just now, they said it should be fixed today within the next couple of hours, but they cannot confirm that, for obvious reasons.
