Youfibre and ducts

[link to this post]

What ducts are youfibre allowed to use?
There are no overhead telephone wires in my street. My phone line was dig. Open reach has completed putting in ducts in the street so open reach based fibre is available to me. I am on Virgin Media's network so Virgin's ducts are in the street.
I was waiting for Brsk which bidb said was in planning for the last two years. Brsk is now a part of Youfibre which I believe is owned by Virgin Media's parent. Bidb does not show Youfibre is in planning in my postcode but is available in surrounding areas via telephone poles.
Should I cut my losses and look at open reach based suppliers or wait on Youfibre.

A quick Google finds this ……

YouFibre primarily uses Openreach ducts and telegraph poles. They do this through a regulatory framework called Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA), allowing their sister network builder (Netomnia) to run full-fibre broadband without needing to dig up roads entirely. In situations where old Openreach ducts are blocked or unavailable, YouFibre or its contractors may lay their own fresh ducts or string lines via overhead poles.

Maybe just Openreach …. lots of choices of service provider via it .

I found numerous cases of Hey Broadband subbies using CityFibre ducts in my manor. Anything goes. It's the wild west out there.
