I note that others have reported issues earlier today.
But mine only went down approx 20 minutes ago!
Anyone in a position to advise why this issue is spreading

Not only cant I get my email, but my speeds are abysmal at the moment. I`ve just about had enough of this unrealibility now, and if things dont improve by the end of the week, I`ll be off.

Is it not beyond the technology to isolate the systems that are creating issues for those with problems and sort them out without adversely affecting those "parts" that are stable!
I have been with PlusNet a long while now and hope they can get through this bad patch but having said that how does the overall performance of PlusNet compare to the other providers in terms of:-
Short / medium / long term stability of services ~ i.e. what has been other ISP history like.
Efficiency of support response and fault resolution
Relative cost for the level of service

Hi All
I see that the email backlog translates into more delays on usernames that have previously been stable and reliable i.e like mine ;~)
I sincerely hope that the actions being taken now will make the system more resilient and therefore work in a more reliable and trustworthy manner.

Is the mail.plus.net pop3 collection even working at the moment? I've not been able to connect since I got home at about 5:30 tonight - keeps coming up with an outlook express error on just my PlusNet email account.

Mine is patchy so far. I have multiple mailboxes, some are connecting after a very long wait others are throwing the inactivity/time out error.

Now getting login failures!!!!!!
Oh well according to the last service notice all will be well after 4am tomorrow ;~)
