email went down a short while ago....

I note that others have reported issues earlier today.

But mine only went down approx 20 minutes ago!

Anyone in a position to advise why this issue is spreading

Hopeless, being a very mild word to decribe PN, in my opinion.

Not only cant I get my email, but my speeds are abysmal at the moment. I`ve just about had enough of this unrealibility now, and if things dont improve by the end of the week, I`ll be off.

Yup Email gone. Portal slow as a tortoise on mogadon.....

is that my speeds and email have been very stable.

Is it not beyond the technology to isolate the systems that are creating issues for those with problems and sort them out without adversely affecting those "parts" that are stable!

I have been with PlusNet a long while now and hope they can get through this bad patch but having said that how does the overall performance of PlusNet compare to the other providers in terms of:-

Short / medium / long term stability of services ~ i.e. what has been other ISP history like.
Efficiency of support response and fault resolution
Relative cost for the level of service
