Another day another problem

Now Usenet is not working, all downloaded headers produce 'Message no longer available on the server' on trying to view the body, new posts are not appearing. Sigh.

i'll start a book with 10/1 odds a tech had two monitors opened and typed something into the wrong one.........

I share your frustration, I've just switched us over to Exchange with email delivered directly from the domain provider, and it's awesome, but transferring everyone's old emails from pus-net's highly sporadic IMAP service has proven very difficult indeed..

Nah ... my monies on them stealing the usenet servers to add to the mail platform to help ease the loads..

(or for additional mail storage on the mx.last in order to accept and queue the mail somewhere before the poor little overworked boxes can deal with it.

Maybe its a new management strategy to get the number of customer support tickets down? disable email so people can't raise new problems???

How does that work then? Plusnet don't support raising problems via email but only via the portal help assistant - which is now running a lot faster than previously.
