Really poor speeds this afternoon

[link to this post]

Anyone else noticed a really bad drop in speeds this afternoon? I was trying to download a couple of apps over HTTP and was only getting 20 KB/Sec, so I ran this speedtest:
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedchart.asp?id=115772700171290119792

Hmmmm.

Because you are LLU'd and it only uses ptn-ag1, no matter what you do your connection will always use that gateway.

Don't tell me every single LLU customer is on one gatway? :/

Seriously? [censored].

Trace has improved somewhat now. Hitting ptn-ag1 at 35ms.

Edit: Better speedtest: http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedchart.asp?id=115773156787642813120

But still not touching what I'm syncing at:
Modem Status Connected
DownStream Connection Speed 8157 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 670 kbps

But that's been an ongoing issue since migration.....
