Unresponsive customer support

[link to this post]

I am desperately trying to get PlusNet to sort out my broadband connection in a new property, this is now well overdue. They aren't responding to the online support system and trying to get through to them on the telephone is pointless, they take so long to answer and I can't wait for long periods on the telephone when I'm in work.

Has anyone any direct way of contacting PN, an email or telephone nuber of the customer services director would help.

You could try sending an email to Ian Wild at [email protected] and/or finding a PlusNet person to PM at http://usergroup.plus.net/forum

I found PN CS very helpful last time I raised a ticket.

I asked for my MAC key, and got it no questions asked

Thanks Simon,

One point the usergroup is no good as you can't register if you aren't connecting through PN and I don't have broadband!

Anyway, all my posts on the Query I raised and threats to post on Forums got a response. The managers hid behind a customer services person, so did my issues really get heard. Although they admitted that all the mistakes were their's, e.g. useless responses, not communicating problems, incorrect portal pages......

After 3 weeks they are now saying it will be another week (if I'm lucky) before they get me reconnected!! They won't compensate me for all the telephone calls or 3G card usage, just a free months connection.

I'd check out the comparison tables on this website before touching PN.

I second that. They were unresponsive - even for my cancelation of service request, which is a standard process.

Appauling lack of support via their 'question' system and always very long queues on the telephone support system. They would not compensate me for 1 month either (even though I have been a premier customer of theirs for 4 years) and their ticket system logged that I had been chasing constantly for 3 weeks.
