P2P is this now an optional service like email

I noticed that P2P connecticity has now either been blocked or severely throttled. I know that PN now doesn't provide email, or atleast one that connot be relied on. Is this now the same with P2P. Can anyone tell me what services come with PN, eg will streaming be stopped next? Is the service only suitable for web browsing, excluding youtube and similar sites?

Erm...you'll be lucky!!

Depending on what time of day it is, which product you are on, which gateway you have connected to- you'll be lucky to even web browse.

my speed is the lowest i've ever seen, p2p isnt worth trying, i cant browse with these stupid speeds, i've rebooted by router 9 times in the last 2 days in the hope i'll get a decent connection

Well, the PlusNet speed test just gave me 5.35 Mbps so it is not everyone.

That is the same with Eclipse, some people are saying that their speed is low and they are not getting a good service and yet other people are finding it fine, mine is fine at the moment,

I think some [people want a lot for the little money they pay, I know some people do pay over the odds and don't get a service and I don;t blame them for going or complaining.

But I don't think any Internet service is worth paying over

Could always try the free (as in beer) documentary made by ThePirateBay.

Check out www.stealthisfilm.com for the torrents, or TPB website of course. It's got a 10:1 Seed/Leech ratio, so should be pretty fast.
