When I was maxed just over a week ago, my speeds stuck at 2meg, and my profile didn't move at all. Left it a few days and there was no change (even after re-booting my router). Raised a ticket, and PlusNet were excellent. To cut a long story short, after they investigated, my profile was changed to '8000' (not sure if PN or BT did this), and my speeds radically increased. I connect as follows - Downstream 7616 and Upstream 448. Here's a speed test i've just performed, which is fairly typical now:-

Is it just co-incidence that you all seem to be syncing at 7616? Isn't that the maximum sync with interleaving enabled.

No, that is not the maximum attainable. How about these stats...

I don't know about others but my MAX upgrade appears to have gone straight onto interleaved - unless it was throwing a wobbler when it was first upgraded in the early hours of the morning which might possibly have caused it. I'm not bothered as I don't game & don't get anywhere near the maximum (apart from about 11 hours synched at 7000kbps after a power drop in the midldle of the day recently).

Interleaving is now default. I guess this was in response to the number of issues during the first MaxDSL rollout.
