Rubbish. Useless, Terrible. My +Net misery.

Plusnet are abominable, awful, unsanitary and just plain rude. I was a miserable PN customer months ago when like a lot of other people I finally got sick of their multiple changes of terms and conditions when my unlimited connection was managed squeezed and contended down to a couple of lousy Gigabytes. None of these T and C changes was I informed about and they all seemed to be an attempt to cover up Plusnets laughably incompetent business model.

Having looked around and seeing much better deals with other ISPs I asked for a MAC and to pay

How much do they owe you? Did you try getting it back from your bank? Want to pursue a Small Claims Court action? I will pay the expenses if you can't afford it (the costs will be added to the claim so I'll get them back from you after/if you win the case) - you just have to do the paperwork and turn up at your local county court if it ever gets that far.

Surely someone who has been done like a kipper will take these disgusting rogues to court - on principle if not to get their money back?

There is no question at all the PN would indeed go bankrupt if they continued much longer. But you can be sure they'll sell out to some equally appalling shysters, like Pipex. It'll happen soon. PN have always been a joke, going back to their 300Mb a day limits when they first started offering broadband years ago.

Plusnet are rubbish and I hope they go bankrupt.

Don't be so soft. I hope they remain solvent and you get your money back with a claim in the small claims court. Send them a final letter by recorded delivery to their egistered office, demanding back what they owe you and give them 21 days. Only claim what you know will stand up in court. Then if they don't cough up, take up pr100's offer

From today's October update on the Plusnet forums:

"We will provide a level of service to you our customers that is good enough to walk away with plenty more awards in 2007!"

Where do they get this stuff?

It's fairly typical, in my opinion, of much of the self-promoting stuff, put out by many businesses these days.

Personally, I tend to be swayed more, to businesses who have the confidence to rely on their product(s)/ service and don't feel the need to continually refer to past/ current/ future "glories" (awards), often of debatable value.

There are so many awards doing the rounds, that I think they're often as irrelevant to a consumer, as "SALE" signs in shop windows have become.

And don't forget they got some of the votes by offering a holiday as a prize to voters!

Blackpool. You can buy plastic models of the tower quite cheaply on the seafront.
