MAC'ing out

Hi guys,

Well i am finally thinking of going so i have a question about MACs.

I signed up on the 12/09/2005 so i am now free to leave without any additonal payments. I want to time my leave spot on so i don't have to pay any extra to plusnet (ie having to pay the new provider and the old at the same time) so what should i do??

Get a mac code a couple of days before my next payment comes out and then use that with the new isp??

Just to make sure you are not in for a surprise - did you take up the "free" modem or activation offer?

I migrated in for free, but i didnt take any hardware. I shouldn't be charged any fees to migrate out.

Well i have opened a ticket to find out if they would screw me on this.

I thought that was for only new activation costs and not migrated ones.

Ah well.

I've been PM'd by someone to point out that there were different options for the various "free" offers - I believe all of them involved deferred charges - you'll have to ask PN how much it will cost you.
