I have been with Plusnet for 1 year. I never really have much complaint about them, as I'm a low usage customer on the whole.
I occaisonally do the odd p2p download, but never go over my limit.
Recently, I've noticed that the speeds my p2p get to seem to be capped at 20KB/s. It used to be way in the hundreds. I've also noticed that it now takes AGES to authenticate the collection of email using Outlook Express.
So, I thought I'd write them a ticket through their website.
AArrrrghhh !!
I have done this twice now, and BOTH times I've got a reply stating that I should do a BT speed test and plug the modem directly into the main BT socket etc etc.
I am NOT complaining about the download speeds... only on p2p traffic.
WHY DON'T THEY LISTEN !!!!
WHY DO THEY JUST SEND OUT STOCK ANSWERS.
I've had enough now.
Can anyone recommend a good ISP, giving me up to 8MB speeds, good speeds on p2p network, 30GB cap would be fine and a fixed IP address.
I'm a very patient guy, but they've lost my custom through their own ignorance.
