10 Day speed adjusting question

[link to this post]

I'm new to PN and it's the first time I've switched my ISP in over 6 years. What I've read is that in the first 10 days my connection will be adjusted to see how fast my line can sustain.

It's been 7 days already (I don't know if the 10 days is counted as working days) and my connection through the speed tests and the PN portal is around 500kbs.

I'm on an up to 8mb package and my modem says I connect at (up)320000 (down)3648000 (SNR)6.0. The BT speed test says (from last night):

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 2500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 384 kbps(UP-STREAM) 3296 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 494 kbps

Given that it's only been 7 days, should I have need to worry or shall I just sit it out? With my previous ISP I was connecting around 2.5mbs, and that was capped.

Looks like the BT Wholesale systems are up to speed e.g. the 2.5Mbps IP profile. What you need now is Plusnet to see this change via a delta report, raising a ticket or posting in usergroup may get someones attention
