Why would anyone pretend to a Plus.net employee on a BBS? Wouldn't you think that a real Plus.net employee would think to chase this one up after seeing a fellow worker post online?

You can attempt the test by submitting the phone number or CBUK number into the woosh page. It will then try and test the line and come back with a failed message usually saying something along the lines of "circuit ceased".

This same message can occur for a number of reasons e.g. wrong phone number, regrade in progress or the line ceased. These then need looking into to find out which it is.
