Business packages

Hmmm!

These seem to be still on monthly contracts. Teleworker and Small Business are 2GB peak, unlimited midnight to 8am. Business seems to be unlimited, with priority and 832kbps upload.

Don't forget to add Vat to the prices. (£13.61 >> £15.65, £19.99 >> £22.99, £34.99 >> £40.24).

When I came back to PN and went on the biz tariff it was an annual contract and also only the top tier package gives you 832kb upload.

I was on legacy PAYG until last month, 2GB and no shaping. at the time I looked at the buiness packages and reckoned that teleworker was exactly the same as PAYG. I moved on to Pro for the extra capacity and no shaping.

They're not monthly. It's a 12 month minimum contract with those. See :-

... and incidentally... P2P / Usenet etc... is still heavily managed even on Business - Plusnet don't consider it a Business protocol.

One of the main reasons that I moved to O2 LLU.

Wow!!!!!!! yes I missed that.

But

I can find no reference a minimum term on the Business "Legal" page where it should be, unless I'm missing it, and that's where I always look for definitive information. Just a statement of one month's notice. Section 23.

I havent read the small print... but the business accounts have always been 12 months contract.
I remember a few years ago when they proposed to make it a rolling 12 month contract.. one of our sucesses was getting them to drop that idea and make it 12 month then revert to 1 month after youd done your time.

The legal small print is precisely what matters. If it says under the cancellation section that one month's notice is required and doesn't mention a 12 month minimum term or refer you to somewhere where it does, then I believe that's it!

A single chart on a single page doesn't sound like "legal" to me, as the Legal page over-rides anything else.
