Price query

[link to this post]

Just got move to Plunet Unlimited. The member centre says 11.99 a month but had an email that says 19.56 and 18 month contract. I thought the price was 11.99 for first 3 months the uo to 15 something after that.

Could i be wrong?

The * note on the Read more info link on the Plusnet Unlimited panel on their Residential page states:

* Plusnet Unlimited Broadband starts at £11.99 a month for the first 3 months. If you live in one of our low cost areas you'll then pay £15.99 a month thereafter. If you live outside of one of these areas you'll then pay £19.99 a month thereafter.

So it depends upon what market your exchange is in.

In a Market 3 area you should pay the lower price. I would open a ticket to question the charge.

You aren't wrong but the automatic email system can't handle discounts or Market 3 exchanges.
The actual billing notification should be correct though

Last email I got the system still couldn't handle:

revised VAT - from late last year
previous packages bandwidth charges - emails relate to March 09 products only.

I think they are sharing the same programmer as Enta. There is no real excuse for the rubbish appearing at both ISPs - unless they (now) have similar management. :0

Seriously though - these issues should never have escaped the specification let alone reached the code and even slight (regression) testing would have shown all of them.

Apologies for the confusion. We are aware of a problem with some of the automated emails that are sent out. This has already been raised to our developers for further investigation.
