As a matter of interest, on BB Premier Option 1, what is the managed speed for downloada at 10pm, normally and under Plan B or at least what is the category for downloading Zonealarm - HTTP Download servers or HTTP download sites or something else?

So it looks like it depends what package you're on, I was on BBYW3 and was suffering poor usenet speeds when I should have been getting line speed, I changed to BBYWPro and it's been good although I only have a 15gig peak time allowance, if I have to download anything I usually wait till off peak and do it then and have line speed, mind you I'm never complacent about these things I know things can go wrong over night

In a word, No.

You will find that you agreed to pay for the Router if you left PlusNet within 12 months. The Router belongs to you.

Some other ISP's provide you with a Router on "loan" for the durstion of your service from them. The Router remains the ISP's property at all times.

As Wheel_nut says, we offer the routers on a 12 month deferred contract - you only have to pay for it if you leave within the 12 months.

I have been thinking about the slow download speed I was experiencing and on reflection what PN are doing is probably right, they are big into managing their network and that is all they are doing - so apologies for my 'abysmal' comment
