Is it worth moving to Plusnet BB and Phone?

[link to this post]

I am searching around for another package that will save me some money and was hoping that Plusnet might provide the answer, but I have been reading here and on their own forum and am dismayed at the rigmarole people are having to go through. I was with them 5 years or so ago and nothing seems to have improved since then.

Although there must be some satisfied users but on what I have read I am not prepared to take the chance. At the end of the day, cheap is cheap and that is what you get.

You've asked the question but seem to have already made up your mind!

FWIW I haven't had any problems. Switched seamlessly from Madasafish whom I'd been with since freenetname.

I've been with PlusNet home phone with no problems. Remember you only normaly see people on forums that have problems not the majority that don't.

One point I am not clear about is on port blocking, I use an independent mail service and use port 587 to by pass the ISP. Is this possible with PN?

I expect it's a small percentage of end users who visit tech type BB forums or any other type of forum for that matter whether they have problems or not.
