I think you have hit the nail on the head. I think PlusNet have made the big mistake of trying to sell products too cheap and now do not have the funds to support a proper CSC. Don't ever recall complaints that their products were to expensive but there have been no end of complaints of cut backs on bandwidth and customer service.

I did start a pole on the PlusNet forum to ask if people had a choice of (a) Extra Bandwidth, (b) reduction in price or (c) improved customer service what would they choose and C was showing the majority before the poll strangly disapeared.

I think to most people knowing there is an efficient CSC when you need it is far more important than some of the other things PlusNet think is important to customers. I find it most odd that any company would neglect what is the life blood of the company. They think the robotic automated, go round the houses help system is the answer, customers obviously do not agree.

Can we ask from how many people you had replies so that you could comment that it looks like that is what customers want?

If I recall the last time I looked there was about thirty before it disapeared with only one opting for more bandwidth.
