Plustalk

Anyone else find it frustrating that Home phone is significantly cheaper on calls than Broadband calls??? Both are supposedly 'powered by Plustalk' so if they're both powered by the same software engine, how come Plusnet charges wildly different prices??

Wow. You're right, I'm surprised noone has noticed that. Also noticed their charging 7.5p/minute to 0845 calls (inc. their own call centre) but on WLR they're charging less than half, 3.5p.

I wouldnt mind but I bought one of their VOIP wireless routers specifically to use broadband phone but have ended up using sipgate for their services as its much cheaper! I only use the landline for 0845/0870 numbers as all my other calls are bundled into my mobile!

That's unfortunate. I know others have set up prefixes with multiple SIP proxies, so that when you dial (say) #1 before the number, it will route it over plusnet for free landline calls. But for anything else, these call rates are extremely unappealing.
