It is working for me, but which login name are you using?

It has to be your login name WITHOUT @plusdsl.net on the end. I am not sure, but I think this may have changed recently, as I have an idea I used to type the whole thing.

Nowadays, it will not work if you do that. You neeed just the first bit, before the @ sign.

You have never needed to put the @plusdsl.net or @plus.net when logging in to the portal from either page, that is only required for yur router/modems ADSL connection.

There was a problem some time ago when the login was introduced on the main page where the main page login would not be accepted but the member center one would. If this keeps happening then raise a question and get your login checked.

You may never have needed to, but didn't it previously accept it if you did?

I can't really remember TBH (shows how often I log into the Portal - I hate the damn thing!)

Do you by chance access the site using a bookmark, or "favourite" in your web browser? If so, does the link include a bit like this:

?pn_session=8f63c387fa202aa012ca2d6a571e8547

If so, delete that bit, or just add "http://portal.plus.net" to your favourites instead of the current link.

That should work then ...

Rasing a question now is a complete joke, i have to go through pointless help answers to raise a question, yet more hoops to jump through to get an answer, i can see that it forces users with problems to browse through the help section before raising a question, i can tell anyone reading this now that i had to work that "raise a question" out.

It's the window that open's up which hides the change page, previously viewed in the back ground.

Never got to raise a question anyways.

Similar problem - I couldn't work out why earlier I was unable to log into a client's webmail, even though we were sure we had the right username and password.

Just came back to it and realised that clicking on the link to "email" (this one: http://portal.plus.net/general/webmail.html) takes you to a login - but NOT for webmail. It's the login for the portal, so of course user+mailbox doesn't work. In the address bar is "http://portal.plus.net/error.html"

This is using firefox. Try it in IE and it works OK.

Any reason for this, apart from my gut instinct that wouldn't make family reading?

And now can't get to the help and support pages...
