Are you asking who you could use?

If you are then it is easy:

Personally, I'd split your requirements between 2 companies; an ISP and a hosting company. It's never wise to have all your egss in one basket, and you're severly limiting your options if you want an ISP that has PN's extras. I think you'll have more flexibility this way, with the added advantage of dealing with two specialist companies, which means more refinement and reliability for you.

I think youre correct... the thing is because it is a hobbyist site and Im on a very tight budget..
hosting something over both http + cgi sites that gets > 50k hits per day starts to become a problem

I think there is no limit to bandwidth usage with Zen but I could be wrong. The 1GB is for storage space only but you correctly point out that you can only host 1 site on that package. I am using a third party hosting company and pay

Hi there rsharma

As the Zen Support site states, there is "No Bandwidth Limit (but excessive usage will be stopped)" associated with the free inclusive up to 1GB of web space with their ADSL products See link below for futher details

That is for the free space with the ADSL connection and not for the bronze package hosting though. I am not sure because I am not using Zen for hosting since I use a third party myself. I would try the free hosting but I haven't had time or inclination to move my site to the free space.

Hi there again rsharma

Indeed I was referring to the free 1GB of web space and realistic/sustainable download and upload unlimited usage, that comes with one of Zen's ADSL Residential products.

The Bronze, Silver, Gold And Platinum Hosting deals vary in monthly traffic usage with either 3GB, 5GB, 25GB pr 50GB respectively depending on which product you sign up to, details for which are outlined in the link below

In reply to:

That will be all the free nosh they provide the staff with, but they all seemed to eat in the kitchen when I was there!

That's right, people are being given free food so that they can work through their lunch break, to help clear the ticket backlog.

Kitz is one of the most helpful and knowledgable people around, but as with AceOfSpades and myself, he gets jumped on with OT replies just becuse he is helping rather than telling people to leave and take out ccjs.

I said before, I don't often come here, but I dared to dip my toes in the water a few days ago. The response was (all in the name of fairness of course) accusations against me for trying to stifle free speech.
Well, everyone has the right to give their opinion, but jumping on any PlusNet customer who dares to say that they aren't as bad as some other ISPs, used to be one of the best, and still provide value for money for people like me on a tight budget who needs a static IP, multiple email addresses, web hosting with mysql and cgi, plus at least 30 GB up and download a month.

I challenge the detractors to find me an ISP that charges under
