Its just semantics though, it can be turned on and off, its just in this case pussnet would rather put a line through it because they've got enough issues on they're plate to deal with already.

Never miss an opportunity to jump in and have a knock at Plusnet do you, amazing as you have never been a customer of them.

I was explaining to the OP how the connection setting in the Portal works, whether it is right or wrong or could be implemented differently was no concern of this thread.

Never miss an opportunity to jump in and have a knock at anyone who's not been a customer of Pussnet, do you?

Jump on the same bandwagon as Marco why don't you?

It would make more sense, and reading some of the posts on PUG and on the forums a lot of people, especially gamers would like that.

There was an announcement by James Bailey on the forums about the switch on the customer connection settings, link below.

Personally I could not give a toss about your opinions.

But once again a customer comes on asking about something and you jump on the bandwagon, one of the main reasons why we have lost people that are willing to help others on this forum.

I don't troll the Zen forum, so why do you troll here?

Oh and by the way I do not have the faintest idea as to who your friend Marco is, neither do I want to know or care.

I'm also on PlusNet IP Stream Max (but not Interleaved), and don't see the tool to turn interleaving off.

AIUI, the Portal tool only appears when Interleaving has been turned on (BICBW), so that would explain why it is not offered to me, but in your case as you say you are interleaved, surely it should be available to you.

Perhaps the reason you are not seeing the tool is due to the fact that Interleaving has been manually set to "On" by BT, rather than the "Auto" setting actually detecting problems and then setting to "On"? ie perhaps the Interleaving setting on your your line is no longer set to "Auto". Just a thought.

I've seen the link from the post from billford in this thread, but aside from that, I've read elsewhere that the BT system turns Interleaving on if it detects 10 reconnections in a period of less than an hour, so that might be a way of turning Interleaving back on.

Well, for once I'm impressed. Plusnet must be the first ISP to give you the opportunity to turn Interleave off via their portal. Well Done Plusnet, I never thought I'd be typing that on Plusnet forum.
