Requesting a migration code

[link to this post]

Hi people,

could someone please give me a rough idea how long it takes to get a migration code from Plusnet? I haven't done it before and am now preparing to do it.

The reason I ask is that I have been with Plusnet for about three and a half years now, and I have had enough. I have transferred my domain name to siteground so that is nice and safe and I am now clear to change my ISP.

Many Thanks

Last weekend I raised a request quite late on the Friday evening, and got the MAC on Sunday evening.

Now have my home connection with Zen.

How do things (speeds, snappy web browsing, reliability, support, etc...) compare over at Zen?

I've only been connected since about 8.30 this morning, but so far chalk and cheese.

Web browsing is definitely snappier (particularly this site) and that despite my minimum ping having gone up. You can see the ping change here:-

(I wasn't off for that long. The red band was until I had re-configured the l8nc test to the new IP)

Took me little over a couple of hours to get mine - no hassles.
