still no ADSL

still adsl now for 15 days . i have email 2 people at plusnet from here after they said they would help with my user name saying they would chase the call last time got a contact from them was last sunday . updated ticket still nothing. getting real p***sed with plusnet . Unable to contact anyone from this ISP is a joke. IF ANYONE AT PLUSNET READ THIS PLEASE CHASE THIS CALL AND TICKET>>>>>>>

Are you sure the people you e-mailed were actual Plusnet staff, and not just members of the Plusnet User Group (i.e. other customers) who had offered to help out?

I'm only asking, because Plusnet don't have any "official" presence on this forum any more, although they have been known still to PM people they regard as "bona fide" customers. I don't expect you to disclose the confidential content of PMs, but I'm curious whether the people you've been in contact with were definitely Plusnet, or maybe just somebody you thought was Plusnet.

Not Going to Believe this i got through to someone at Plusnet at last but wait for it he told me that there is no lead time on fixing my problem.. so i have now requested My Mac code to migrate.. does anyone recomend ant isp at mo i should be able to get 8meg.

Depends what you want.

I always recommend IDNet (click the sig) if you want <30Gb, but I'll admit to a degree of bias

do they do unlimited? i only do about 0-20gig a month but have gone above 30gig though

There's Newnet also, I've not had any connection problems in almost 8 months now since dropping Metronet (aka Plusnet)

Not strictly, but the 30Gb is a "soft" cap- you can go over it and just pay
