PlusNet - the worst service I have EVER had

[link to this post]

from 2005-2006, I have experienced significant change in their terms and conditions however not able to get away from them, because everytime I wanna leave them, they will send me loads of emails asking for what so called cancellation penalty which is at a robbery price: 67.00!!!!!

Then, I finally finished my 12 month contract. I know at last I have got my right to leave them. However the funny thing is the 67 fee will be divided into 5 years period. When I aksed them that my fee should only be 67*0.8 because of my one year happily ever stay with them, they told me that 67 is already the discount rate because if I have left them within 12 month period, the fee would have been somewhat 83.75!!! What a joke!!!

Besides, I have never used a broadband which drops out all the time, driving me rebooting my router all the time (tried several routers..) that I just wanna claw my eyes off.

If you signed up at the time of deferred payment, then you know the score it seems. They didn't make it free. It's not a cancellation penalty. It's a signing up fee deferred over five years.

Read your T & Cs before signing.

58.75 + 25 - 11.75 - 5 = 67

Looks correct to me.

This is on the Plusnet web site.
"For every year you stay with PlusNet we'll guarantee that the cancellation cost decreases. What does this mean? If you cancel within the first year, then you will pay

I think that the BT activation fee might have been

i have just looked at mine,
No record of the fee in any paperwork.
Just a email link, but that will take you to what's posted now.
