Open and Honest - you decide

You see this is one such remark which is wrong. They could simply have said they had a server or storage failure and left it at that. Instead they went into great detail to explain what went wrong. OK it did not make the matter any better but they were open an honest and by doing so left themselves open to attack.

well George, this was one occasion i feel they were honest.

Nothing could be done, they tried it failed end of.

The post that was made towards the end of this saga was spot on, take it or leave it

imho this is how they should have been for the last 2 years

Utter twaddle. What about the improved resilience and lack of single point failure mechanisms that they've trumpeted so much recently?

Did I miss something? Has some of the posts been deleted? Or di you just dream up the opening comment, soundsystem and then reply to a non-existent George?

Knowing those answers might prevent me from asking why this has sudenly surfaced again.

Bill,

this is one instance of where i truly believe they have been honest, the other occasion recently was the LLU migration cancellation. They realised that was the cause of the backlog of faults etc.

To announc the refunds of peeps for no service, cant have been an easy choice, however they had no alternative.

You see this is the sort of comment I can't agree with. Maybe I was getting service updates others were not but I was seeing constant updates from day one.

Since I joined PlusNet in 2003 (I think) I have found them always to be open and honest. Ok some of the things they promised like LLU being problem free and all customers being upgraded to MAXDSL may not been as they said it would be but I do believe at the time that is what they believed.

exactly, you were one of the switched on people who had subscribed to service status.

People who don't know what a service status is were in the dark!

Well if you had read the service post more carefully you would have seen that equipment was being installed to achieve the above.

I'll ask what I asked once before, without getting an answer- how many people have actually been refunded, and has everybody entitled to the refunds been informed of that fact?

Similarly for the people who were wrongly LLU'd, have they all been informed of the option to be returned to BT lines?
