Oh joy of joys

[link to this post]

I have a mate on Plusnet who apparently can't access the net at all as of today. It looks like her connected has been ceased as Poornet said they would when a MAC key was requested some time ago and they bleeted on that it wasn't possible because she was on LLU and you couldn't migrate to an IPstream provider. Obviously you can and it was just one of Poornets many lies. They knew that she was leaving regardless due to the many errors and questionable goings on that Poornet practice and it looks like they have dumped her so they dont have to provide a MAC key. There has been no communication from them saying that the line has been ceased which surely would have been the sensible thing but Poornet, as per usual, don't give 2 tosses. She's not allowed to post on Poornets forums now although she can still log in so it is looking promising. She's raised a ticket asking if its all over but I guess they won't bother answering that now. The reconnection fee is going to be well worth it just to escape from these idiots.

On all the reports I have seen posted Plusnet normally offer a cancelation as a much quicker alternative to an llu mac, are you sure this was not offered to your friend and accepted.

How very droll using 'Poornet'. You must be a laugh at parties.

If you feel you need to start calling staff names, this isn't the place.

Just had a post deleted becuase I used the word muppet in conjunction with the partial name of a Plusnet member of staff. A certain member of their staff thinks they can lord it over everybody as anyone who has had dealings will know. Anyway, I digress.

There was no offer of anything except to say that there was no alternative and the choices were to cease or go to another LLU provider. See

http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=plusnet&Number=2671193

[Sorry Seb if I caused you any offense but with what Plusnet do and get away with I don't think muppet was strong at all]
