Duration of expected customer impact:- Up to 4 hours

Detailed description of work to be performed:- We are replacing hardware on the gateway PTN-AG1 which provides connectivity for some of our LLU broadband customers in order to resolve the disconnection problem. During the maintenance window customers connected on this gateway will be disconnected but will be able to reconnect immediately on the gateway PTN-AG2.

this will probably make me sound a bit noobie, but how do i check my gateway? (never had a need to before)

Assuming you're on a Windows system, open a command prompt window and then issue the command

tracert www.bbc.co.uk

Your gateway is almost certainly the second address you will see, the first being your router. If you are using a USB modem rather than a router the gateway will probably be the first address not the second.
