PlusNet dont (admit to) visit(ing) this forum any more but they do monitor the PUG site at http://usergroup.plus.net/forum/index.php/board,20.0.html

I had a similar problem with my DD being canceled after years of problem free debits and I had to let PlusNet take that month's payment using a Credit Card while the DD mandate was restored. If you resort to this, do remember to raise a ticket to get PlusNet to delete your Credit Card details from their systems after the problem is resolved or else, they will use your Credit Card any time that they encounter a problem with the DD mandate.

If you fail to get a prompt resolution, then email James Bailey ([email protected])or Ian Wild who will resolve it for you.

I hope you get your mother's issue resolved soon.

Updated...

Just tried to telephone " It says Phone wait is in access of 1hr "

It might be easier to request her mac key and move to her a decent isp, I'm gobsmacked..

I wish I could get onto the forums on the plusnet site to post about this issue but it keeps asking her to pay before she can.

I have copied your post to the PUG Forum. You should be able to see it here http://usergroup.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,3436.0.html

I believe that James Bailey is on holiday but somebody else should pick it up.

With all the trouble with her PN account and the fact you need someone else to
post for you in the PN site, as you can't contact them any other way.
It surprises me you're not demarnding your MAC key. (Well if you could get through to them).

No ISP is perfect, but what is happening is a joke.

I absolutely agree that the support processes at PlusNet have not been thought through properly and I have raised a thread on the PlusNet customer support forum as well to try and bring some sensibility into play. See: http://portal.plus.net/central/forums/viewtopic.php?t=49159

I don't work for PlusNet. I am a customer just like the victim of this debacle. I will be very disappointed if this cannot be resolved in a couple of hours.

It's good of you to try and help by posting to PN.

Hopefully the OP problem will be sorted out soon.
