NO Plusnet plc do not have the authority to close it down

But one change to DNS and the URL could be wiped out, because it's controlled by Plusnet.

One edit by Plusnet could kill the site etc.

It would be better being entirely independent from Plus's corporate control.

Can you explain why you need to know ..being a non customer and all?
-----
I was picking up on a question which has been asked by Channel and others many times; since it has never been answered, I'm curious as to the reason why. Customers don't have the exclusive rights on curiosity.
-----
Arguing for the sake of it?
-----
It's a PlusNet trait to describe a question as an argument, or even as abuse.
-----
In my view it makes it hard for you to pick on an individual ..and in this current climate .. this can only be good. If it spoils the anit brigades funs thats fine by me.
-----
Another PlusNet-style confusion. Very few individuals (except me) ever get "picked on" here. Institutions get criticised. Policies get criticised. Departments get criticised. 'Management' get criticised. I did criticise Liam once for writing PlusNet spin in place of facts in a PUG article. Perhaps that's the "individual" you are referring to...?

Much ado about nothing ... obviously ... to any rational person. Assume consipracies everywhere for some folk. Now would you believe this was an ISP and not a government department of the former USSR? Some folk need a reality check!

Customers don't have the exclusive rights on curiosity. No ... but rational folk would ask why you believe this important enough to be pressing when you have been told the reason why the information has not been provided at this time??

Is it? Weird .. most folk can see an arguement a mile off .. but then you seem to hang on particular phrases .. must be something to do with your PR thing.

How come everything for you everything is PLUSNET STYLE??? You really should get out more! First Plusnet .. now they have gone from here .. next PUG because thats all thats left .. What next?? The Tea Lady because she has plusnet sympathies?

Sometimes this place takes itself so seriously that you have to wonder whether counselling would be appropriate!

So why defend them???, are they not big enough to look after themselves???, include yourself in the reality check.

I've done that, in the thread where you will find various people disparaging this site and it's members. Let's see where it gets us.
