Whats the hold up?

Just wondered is BT ever going to take over Plusnet, or if this is another one of Plusnet marketting Guru Marco's PR stunt pipe-dream exercises yet again? I'm beggining to think it is.

I really hope it isn't, because if it is (and theres nothing in this take-over bid afterall) we're about to see a share price fall of the likes never before seen.

lol. Of course the offer was real, you can't make news up like that, at least legally.

I would hazard a guess that the top man doesn't want to take the offer as his shares were worth 400p+ a few months ago and he seems ego-filled enough to believe that hte company is worth that, not a paltry 200pish.

Wouldn't it require an EGM raised for the shareholders to decide? Not a quick process.
