Cant Publish to Webspace.

Can access my webspace but unable to Publish an update to it ?
Faciility down ?

htdocs or ccgi server? I have just accessed the htdocs server okay from my connection.

Do you mean PN web site tools ? Iv had an on going issue with this , raised a ticket and had to keep replying to the ticket because of one question replies from staff. IE when did this happen , then a few days later, at what times does it happen, answer and a day later how many times a day does it happen . I gave up and just put up with it taking 20 times to load a saved page .

Why could the pn rep ask all these questions in one reply

Just to confirm i can access my own webspace which is published from my pc

But I cant update ... it wont accept the PUBLISH option .

I use FRONTPAGE

When i try to publish i get message saying

" CANT FIND A WEB SERVER AT myusername.plus.com " on port 80 etc etc

I use FP on my site which is/ was with F9 and even today it is accessing the server okay. I seem to recall getting a message very similar to this a few years ago and of all things, it was down to the Explorer browser, whether it could be this for you or not I don't know. Basically, under the file tab, there is an option to "work offline". For some reason when I had this problem, there was a tick against that command which impaced on the ability to publissh.

I only view my webspace using I E.
to P U B L I S H i amend my frontpage data held on my computer then i hit the PUBLISH option.... it is only then that i go into IE to view the finished published article.

I don't use Frontpage myself but according to https://portal.plus.net/support/webspace/frontpage_guide.shtml the server is fp.username.plus.com (have you forgotten the fp. prefix?).

I R E A L I S E that as I have read the question. I was trying to offer a constructive answer to your problem by informing you of something that happened to me and how I fixed it, which may or may not have worked for you. But hey, what do I know except it works for me?
