ISP unhappiness forum

[link to this post]

There are a lot of threads in here which are about unhappiness with PN but started by non PN customers which all seem to be about a few things which, judging by the replies of a lot of people, non PN customers reply to. Could I request the ISP unhappiness forum is used for all these instead please.

If people have a particular beef about PN then they can post it in there for people to see, and then this forum could be used for PN customers with problems, or potential PN customers with questions.

Can I please request that you do not tell me where I can or cannot post.

If you have a problem with the way this forum is ran, you should really raise in TTTS

Awaits locking of thread.

You misunderstand. I'm merely stating that there is a forum specifically for ISP Unhappiness which would be better suited to the repeated posts of the same information.

Thankyou for your reply though, I was expecting several

VIsitors to the BBS are free to post where they like, and ISP Unhappiness is one area where a cross post to the ISP section is often tolerated

If people are posting about their own experiences and unhappiness the fact that it may be repetitive is neither here nor there

on the reply front no problems

As for the ISP unhappiness forum, why should Plusnet customers not see Plusnet issues in a forum dedicated to Plusnet

I do not understand your logic.

If you think Plusnet are great, fine thats your opinion, but you really should let other people have an opinion as well.

Plusnet imho were great, when they stopped been great, I left them. When they stop treating their customers (imho) Iike beta testers and give them a fair deal, I shall also leave the Plusnet forums.

In the meantime, the more people can do to help people leave Plusnet or help them sort their problems out in the Plusnet titled forum, the better.

You may well be fine and have no problems, other people are not as lucky and really should be treated better.

We can argue the symantics all day, but basically we have 2 different views, mine however is to help people.

So should we agree to disagree and lets not make it personal or vindictive or retalitory?

Great - thats how a forum should be.

Oh come on, he didn't "tell you where you can or cannot post". He told people where they CAN post, but at no point did he say people could NOT post here.

He requested that people might like to take certain subjects elsewhere. It was a request, not an order.

In fact if you had a problem with his post you should have reported it to a MOD, not replied to it.

Come to think of it so should I.

*sigh" yes I did read that. Where in that phrase you've just quoted does it say where you can or cannot post?

Well I posted in this forum, so if he requests that I post in the ISP unhappiness, then I have understood that as aimed at me. If not fine.

Like I said thought TTTS would have been a better place if he had a problem.

AFAIK if my post is OT or out of order, I would have had a PM and thread locked, but to the best of my knowledge, not recently.

So shall we draw a line now?

I dont disagree with you, nor do I think PN are brilliant, but I'm happy enough with them. And to be honest, I've considered moving to Sky, purely for saving money.

My problem is that there are very very long threads which seem to be constantly started, re-started, re-worded, etc, etc.

I dont believe in censorship and a I do believe in freedom of speech, but we often seem to suffer from needle in haystack syndrome in this forum.

Yes, I realise that makes me a bit of a hypocrite though because I am suggesting that the odd speaker move their soapbox to another area of the park.
