One of my referrals is still on a Premier 2Mb product and seems to be have been missed out in the MaxDSL upgrades.
Do Plusnet still offer free upgrades to MaxDSL and will he remain on the legacy Premier account if he requests an upgrade to 8Mb?

Ive seen peeps raise this in the PN forum and get prettty hasty upgrades, either that or by way of a ticket, which I think takes about a week. Going to max should not afect his legacy status AFAIK

Has he actually requested the upgrade at any time or certainly within the past 6 months or so?
PN switched from automatic upgrades to an opt-in process some time ago so if no request was made no upgrade would have been done.
You will remain on the same product after being upgraded.

The automatic upgrades were stopped as they were causing too many problems.
If anyone wants to upgrade for free, go to http://max.plus.net and this will create a ticket that will get actioned within a week.

The above post has been made by an ISP REPRESENTATIVE (although not necessarily the ISP being discussed in the post).

Hi Pod,
If you give me or one of the Comms Guys the username in question, we'll get an order placed asap, which should only take a working day to complete.

Well, James, I PM'd you and also used the http://max.plus.net link to confirm the username. You stated the upgrade would be sorted out the next day, that was nearly four weeks ago, still waiting....

Hi Pod,
I definitely placed the order for your friend as per my initial PM.
I'm afraid I don't have acess to the order system from hyome, but will try to remember to check tomorrow.

Managed to fiux that so I've had a look into the order.
It looks like I manage to create and order but managed not to finally submit it so you have my apologies for that. I've pushed it through and it should hopefully complete tomorrow.

OK, thanks James, was wondering what was happening.

Hiya,
Yeah, that was entirely my fault for committing a schoolboyesque error when placing the order. I've just checked it now and it's all been completed so hopefully your friend should be starting to see improved speeds.
