Mass downloader... should I change from my premier to your way?

When you say mass downloader, what applications do you use, how much do you download and at what times of the day? TBH if you don't download much between 8am and 4pm then you would probably be better off on BBYW3 than Prem1

P2P is my main data use.. Already hit 52GB this month.

If you're happy to schedule most of the downloads between midnight and 8am then it's probably a good choice. Option 3 does also give 20GB of included bandwidth so the way I see it is how much do you currently use between 8am and 4pm and if that plus the 4pm to midnight usage is less than 20GB (or as I say you can set the downloads to overnight) then it should be a good move.

What will this mean for me? Slower during the peaktimes is what im reading that as?

The way the network works is that when the network is quieter the rate limits on Premier are relaxed so that for example P2P speeds are higher than the rate limits.

A Saturday night is a good example of when this happens. Gold traffic is normally the lowest of evening on Saturdays as such there's spare capacity so the rate limits on P2P are increased. Right now there's actually no rate limit on P2P on Premier and the Usenet rate limit is 512kbps instead of 228kbps (it's set tol increase again at 9pm).

So you say that there is no rate limit on prem. now but I'm guessing there is on the Your Way then?

Right this minute there are no rate limits on P2P and Usenet on Premier or BBYW Opion 4 or P2P on BBYW Option 3. That's because the network is quiet at the moment. Tomorrow night will be different because Sundays are always busier than Saturday (Sundays are generally gaming night with the highest level of gaming traffic of the week) and I don't expect any changes from the published figures except maybe between 11pm and midnight and 4pm-6pm which should be a little higher on Premier.
