I am about to sign up for a new PlusNet account. On the signup page it asks if anyone has recommended me - presumably if someone does they get a refund on their bill?

Does anyone want to recommend me? All I need is your username.

Go through Quidco,

�28 for signing up through their site.

Even if you never used it before after the �5 Quidco fee, you're still �23 better off.

bearing in mind Plusnets 90 day money back offer they are not likely to pay any cashback until they know the customer is staying.

Just checked, and my Quidco cashback took 4 months to go through.

When I used Quidco and signed someone up at the end of May, was paid end of July.
I was surprised as though it would be 3 months.

Not too familiar with either of these affiliate sites or what sort of timescales are involved TBH but will ask the question of our marketing guys and see what they say.
