well PN are now offically showing my connection speed as 250 kbps in the member centre.
He is hoping that it greatly improves and soon rather then later.

What do you mean by connection speed? Sync or Profile. An ADSL Max sync speed of 250kbps is impossible.

Best to always post a BT speed test then there is no uncertainty as to what you mean.
