Good news for existing BBYW users

Hi guys,

I've had feedback from the product team now.

We will be allowing customers to move from one BBYW Option to another *only* if they're currently a BBYW customer.

This is a manual process, so will have to be initiated by raising a ticket rather than upgrading via the portal.

We're in the process of briefing agents on this, and updating the site content.

Obviously your interpretation of consumer law was agreed to by the PN legal team.

The removal of the paragraphs in the FAQ's is still very suspect and in my view calculated to deceive.

Great I just migrated in this morning and was worried that I was going to be stuck on a product that wasn't suitable so this is great news thanks to all concerned

The FAQ is currently being updated, along with a ticket path to facilitate these changes.

They'll be live by this afternoon.

Thanks for the update. It does however damage the reputation of PN that such decisions were taken in the first place. And that attempts were made to hide the facts from the customer base.

I did wonder obout the significance of '"*only* if they're currently a BBYW customer'...
If BBYW is not a current product, how could you possibly be a BBYW customer without being a current BBYW customer?

Sorry if I'm nit-picking, but it just seemed an odd constraint, so wondered what was behind it...

Broadband Pro isn't a BBYW product, I would imagine "only" may be making that point.

Presumably this is so users on other legacy products (and the new products) cannot ask to use one of the now-legacy BBYW packages.

But it does mean those on say option-1 retain the ability to move to option-2 or back again. And that was part of the "offer" on BBYW. Indeed even last week if you were on option-1 and wanted to prebuy more than 6/7GB extra for the month it actually told you to upgrade to option-2.

Not so. Mand has confirmed that this also applies to BBYW Pro.
