Cancelling while in contract advice

[link to this post]

Through no fault of PlusNet's it's looking like I might have to cancel my broadband around November time (possible move abroad with with work for what would be at least 2 years). I'm currently on unlimited but with a 12 month contract (existing customer) which started in March, meaning I'll have around 4 months left to run on the current terms. Can anyone tell me the likely charges I would face if I have to cancel?

I believe you are liable for the remaining period of the contract

Check out any extradition treaties and do a bunk. Otherwise, I think you have to pay up.

Edit: Good job your not on an 18 month contract.

It also looks as if OP would have to pay the BTW cancellation fee.

Yes, Nadger's correct.

The cancellation charge would be the remainder of the contract plus the cessation charge.
