BB speed after migration

[link to this post]

OK, just migrated to PlusNet and using the PN supplied modem, how soon should I expect my PN BB speed to reach the levels of my former ISP. Is there a training period after migration in the same way after initial activation? Thanks

There are debates about whether there is or is not a training period on migration.

What is certain is that the line is not set back to the defaults applied at initial activation of ADSL Max.

Without knowing what speeds you had before and what speeds you are getting now we don't really know what we are replying to. Your line stats would help a lot - see here for help if you don't know how to find them.

A paste of the full results from a BT Speed Test would be very useful as well.
