The only thing I can think (and it was my feeling as well) is that your post would have been a little more appropriate in the Talk to the Staff forum.

Why? It was Plusnet spamming the forums, not the staff.

Because TTTS is the correct place to bring dodgy posts to the attention of the staff so that they can be dealt with appropriately. I note that the post you linked was deleted by a moderator. The description of the TTTS forum is "Use this forum when you have something that needs the attention of the team--Specifically anything to do with the thinkbroadband site/forums.

The only motive for posting here where it would probably take longer to come to a moderators attention rather than on TTTS would be if you wanted to be a trouble maker. I'd given you the benefit of the doubt - now I'm beginning to wonder.

I'm sorry I don't follow your argument. I reported it here because it originated here and I wanted to bring it to the attention of Plusnet users to let them know the methods employed by their ISP.

If it's the post I think it was, then it wasn't posted by Plusnet staff. I think it was something to do with a company we're affiliated with though. Either way it shouldn't happen again.
