Business Option 3?

[link to this post]

Hi there,

A quick question, as I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Plusnet have their option 3 business package for £35 ex vat a month (for a 12 month contract) which they claim is unlimited, which seems a bit too good to be true. Whats the catch, if any?

Cheers

Business Option 3 as you may be able to see there does offer full line rate speeds for the vast majority of what we would regard as the most commonly relied upon types of business traffic. However we do always want to make sure our cards are on the table as far as our products are concerned so please let us know if you have any specific questions about this.

Adam, no malice intended by the way. A simple statement of an important fact in response to the OP's question.

No opinion passed. Though I feel it worth noting I didn't give any more facts. So either I am ignorant of other "catches", or there aren't any.

Interested to see that the lowest price product says "Additional usage for total flexibility - If you need to go over your usage allowance you can buy this for just £1 per GB. If you know you don't want to pay extra you can set a price limit."

Is that based on charging for 5 GB as the minimum "chunk" of extra usage that can be bought?

Nope, the 5GB blocks are on the newest iteration of residential products only.

Are there plans to "migrate" the 5 GB blocks in future to other accounts, then, please?

Just seems 'odd' not to have adjusted the lot in one go, but it no doubt has both commercial and logistical reasons for it not being done...

I'm not sure about future plans. But we didn't change business or legacy products (it was a terms and conditions change which has other areas of impact).

Because real business customers would have raised the devil's domain about it.
