Re: Poor handling of a fault.

Spoke too son about the fault being fixed. About 6 days of stable conenction. Then 6 or 7 ADSL drops yesterday frown I've updated the ticket but no response from Plusnet as yet.

I don't know if the Openreach guy actually swapped my E side pair in the end.

Looking at the ticket it sounds like the drops were caused by someone working on your line (or at least the bits of equipment that affect your line), either at the exchange or the green box. Definitely worth keeping an eye on in case something has gone wrong but hopefully it'll just have been a blip whilst the work was happening.

Hi there,

Likewise. I've dropped a reply on there and passed it back to you (though it's still open in case the issue does recur and you need to send it back) and have made sure to feed back to those concerned.

Thanks for keeping in touch with the problem. I tried a spare router too, just in case we have to go through the whole diagnosis routine again. As usual it worked OK. Had one ADSL drop after some hours. Reconnected at a dismal (for me!) speed so this morning I went back to my PN supplied 585v7. Now runnning at a decent speed again.
