You said the checker I gave you recognised your number and gave you speed estimates for all the options.

That means categorically that the line is not LLU'ed.

You now say your broadband is on O2 LLU. That can only happen with a "BT not LLU" line.

That means categorically that the line is not LLU'ed.

As has been suggested, contact Plusnet. I have a strong feeling that the same happened to someone else recently, (the line being with O2 as well as the broadband), and the PN reps said there would be no charge, even though it was showing during the order process. That it would sort itself out later. There's a fair chance one of them will see this thread anyway tomorrow smile.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 54.0/14.9Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

You discount my theory as impossible that when OP signed BB with O2, line was BTw (rental with Pipex) and when TT took over rental from Pipex they somehow made it a phone-only Partial LLU (in theory there can be such a thing?) and O2 never noticed?

If this were the case, it would be a v. peculiar situation and could well arise to contradictory results with checkers.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 19 Meg WBC

Could be right. In 2005 Pipex started, in conjunction with BT, to LLU a number of exchanges on their own and with other companies. When Tiscali took over Pipex the trend continued however, they never advised customer of change.

Will try and get it all sorted out today but if it does turn out something has gone on with my line then talk talk are going to get a mouth full from me as i do not do polite anymore to companys like this.
The sooner i get the line away from talk talk the better as i never did like them from day one.

Letting steam off is good for the blood pressure, but not sure it'll do any good to your phone line.
All you are going to do is insult a minimum-wage script monkey answering the phone - and I'm sure they would like to be working somewhere else too, if they had the choice.

I will start of being polite but i bet i will end up shouting at someone down the phone because they never want to listen half the time lol.
I just want my phone line away from talk talk and i do not want anything to do with them ever again.
I had a feeling there would be problems when i found out talk talk were taking over pipex homecall/tiscali.

That wasn't what I was suggesting. That article is about LLU, Partial or Full, on BB; I was postulating Partial phone only LLU.

Perhaps when you took that out the line stayed with BT, but when TT took over the line they also took it away from BT. O2 did not notice the change of "ownership" in the meantime as you already had their BB on it.
I don't see how that would work. It involves a PSTN Cease, which also ceases any broadband on the line.

Furthermore, the physical line from he user is jumpered to the O2 DSLAM. I'd be fairly sure that LLU Phone would have to be jumpered to the TT DSLAM, even if the broadband wasn't TT.
