I was playing with the 2740B (quite like it but it synced a bit slower initially) and this involved unplugging the ADSL and replugging it from the plus net supplied router
that standard router is now happily netting away at:
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.5
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,279 / 23,369
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.6 / 0.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 8.3 / 13.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 8.1 / 3.0
System Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ----
Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / IFTN
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 5 / 0
I am now even more impressed. Slightly flummoxed too as to the other router and what the hell to do with it

going to have a curry and mull it over.
thanks plus net. My phone stays off the hook these days - could you fix it that makes internet cheaper?

))
edit: my speedtest on tbb results are around 19.1 Mbps. That's a little lower than I would have liked to see given the sync speed I'm getting above. Does the maths work like this or was there some shaping or contention at the ISP end (presumably) I didn't expect working here?
